After our last post, we have travelled through the Black Hills, into Devil's Tower, Yellow Stone, Washington and down into Oregon. We are currently at our 16th stop in Camp Rilea, a Military post on the coast of Oregon, just outside of Warrenton and Astoria. The coolest things around here are Fort Stevens, State park, the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park, Ecoa State Park, Indian Beach and Cannon Beach. Not to mention the Goonies House and Goonies 40th Anniversary Weekend. 8,000 Mile Youtube Video - https://youtu.be/4IREzhi5rPg?si=J27DTUsNr-vTgJyu The Great Outdoors is Calling – And We’re Answering! 🌲🚴♂️🏞️
One of the best parts of full-time RV living? Stepping out your door and straight into nature’s playground.
From sunrise hikes in the mountains to lazy afternoons fishing by the lake, every stop on our journey offers something wild and wonderful. We’ve zip-lined through the Black Hills, pedaled scenic bike trails in national parks, and watched wild bison roam just feet away in Custer State Park. Oh—and don’t forget the spontaneous roadside picnics with million-dollar views.
Whether it's paddling a kayak across a quiet lake, setting up campfires under the stars, or just walking the pups (Lucy & Ethel) through the woods, we’re soaking up every fresh-air moment we can.
No matter where we park, the outdoors always finds a way to surprise us. So grab your boots, your camera, or just your sense of adventure—there’s always something amazing waiting outside your RV door.
Stay tuned as we share our favorite outdoor spots and tips for making the most of nature—one mile at a time.
